So despite being an Emerging Media grad student and having engaged in practically every social media platform under the sun, I have somehow managed to put off starting my own blog. I can't say I haven't thought about it, because I certainly have.
My main reason for not having a blog was quite frankly that I thought I had nothing to say. While I learn lots of fascinating things in school and maintain a consistently booked Activities Calendar (as my dear friend @jennreeves and I like to call it), I felt as if I lacked expert status. If I wasn't an expert at anything, then who really wanted to hear what I had to say?
Well, it occurred to me recently that I actually do have something to say. I have opinions. Sometimes mainstream, sometimes radical, but regardless, I think they are interesting and I'd like to share them. More significantly, I'd like to hear what others have to say about them.
But really... I just hate not having anything to put by "Website" on my twitter bio.
